Hey guys,

Does anyone know if the KWs have a preset ride height from the factory?

Thanks!

I'm not sure if there is a preset. We've sold a ton of them to owners here, so sooner or later one of them will pop in

I had to lower mine alot... If you put them on as is straight from the the factory you will probably be higher than stock...

for me installation was easy, it was the aggrivation of adjusting that took all the time

My friend did my installation. According to him, he said he followed the factory spec and my car is lowered by 20mm. Lower than stock by aprox 0.5 inch, which is fine by me, cause I have steep driveways to clear. Hope this help.

when stock and w/ the car on the ground measure from the center of the hub to the top of the wheel well and when you put the new shocks on do the same thing to get them to the same height, or lower if you want.

20mm is almost an inch. (.78)

Thanks guys for the replies, I think I will use the factory setup first and go from there.

Also, I remember that a couple months ago someone posted instructions (w/ pictures) on how to mount the OEM tophats onto the V3

I looked using the search, but with no luck. Does anyone have the link in handy to help me out?

Thanks.
