Pacific Raceways.

There are not quite as many trees there now as were there when that picture was taken, but the lower half of the track still feels like a drive along a forest road.

The upper half includes a high speed (120+ in an S2000) blind dogleg turn that includes a significant elevation change.

It's actually a pretty fun track, even if it's rundown in places.

It was one of the first dedicated tracks built on the West Coast. The first races were run there in 1961. Some of the pavement is original, unfortunately.

Yeah, he's got a couple of Miatas he's been threatening to build into SM cars for a few years, but there's no sign of this actually happening. I think it all went wrong when he got sidetracked by getting married.

Ray's actually been showing up at the track again, ever since he bought his Elise. He's still dang fast.

Just an idea - I could develop it. Increase legibility, say track instead of race, etc.. That's my overall idea though.
