yeah...u'll need some serious spirited driving to wear off the anti-mold agents on the tread surface. When you allow it to rest after the 1st heat cycle...the anti-mold krap actually vents out from within the rubber so hence more grip =)

 

Humm... i wonder if i regular drive one way to work would heat them up much.

I could "take it easy" there and not on the way back. I'm just worried that 8h rest from the first drive would be a bad idea.

 

Why not just pay Tirerack (or whoever you buy from) to do their heat cycling service? I think it's $15 per tire.

 

I would if I had the option.
