Default Racing seats

I have a 2004 S2K and will be autocrossing it, while keeping it as an occasional street toy. I want to install a lower, and lighter driver's seat that is also compatible with the OEM seat belts, as well as retaining use of the middle glove box. I would like to be able to mount the seat on a slider, too.... What do you all suggest?
Thanks!

I like my new Bride Vios III. Definitely a no-go if you are over a 32" waist though!

I have Sparco Pro2000, and they're great. The wings slightly interfere with the glove box if you're keeping it in, and press against the door card. Great for me - 34-36 waist, and wide shoulders at roughly ~44-46. I have them mounted on taitec rails, and take the seat cushions out when I have the car out on track (to sit lower).

Do you know off hand if your Pro2000 setup is STR legal? I love that seat and would definitely use it when I do my STR build if it's class legal, but am unsure about weights.

get some lower sliders for the stock seat. if you plan to drive the car in the street all the time, the safest one is stock. All aftermarket seats have an issue with the seat belt and who knows how it is in an accident if routed incorrectly

I have a Recaro Profi SPG with Ballade rails. It fits me well, looks nice, and doesn't rub anything. As with any racing seat (I think), glove box access is diminished, but can be opened when you slide the seat forward. I currently still use the stock seat belt with a seat belt extender bolted to the rails in lieu of the stock clip.

I think the Backyard Special is the only one available, lowers the stock seat ~20mm.
Got mine from here http://www.rhdjapan.com/backyard-spe...ail-s2000.html
