Sparco Evo 2 Plus and Sparco Pro 2000's should be on your radar. Recaro SPG XL is going to sit to high for your height once installed because of the shape of the base.

They are a bit more than the Sparco but check out the Cobra seats. I'm 5'11" 275 and have an Evolution GT harness holes are perfect.

Yeah its in my 2003 I had a custom set of non adjustable rails made that mount the seat on the floor. I've posted pics on here before if you search my posts you should be able to find it. I'm on my phone so its a PITA to post links...

The buddy club or any seat rails will work with the right adjustments...I've personally installed the buddy clubs on the cobra seats as well as my pole positions. I got every seat to sit on the floor.

I always recommend the recaro pole position. I am 6'0" and just under 200 lbs. I've driven the car 300 miles+ multiple times and I'm still able to walk after I get out of the car lol

How much lower do you figure you are sitting compared to stock? I am 6'2" and I wouldn't mind to be a bit lower in the car.

The Pole Position won't work for you. I'm pretty close to the same size and the harness holes are going to be too low. A lot of people don't look at that trait when buying seats but talk to anyone that's been around tracking a car for a while and they'll tell you it's extremely dangerous. If the holes aren't at or above your shoulders you need to find a different seat.

I'm currently in a similar boat and looking for a new seat to replace my Pole Position.

And for those that want a bucket but it's only a street car and will never see harnesses the absolute best seat is going to be the Recaro Pole Position. I have one in my car now on Buddy Club rails and the seat bottom rubs the floor. I also have the foam removed out of the butt cushion so I'm as low as you can possibly get in the car short of not having a seat at all. At 6" tall my head is about an inch below the factory roll hoops. It does wonders for how the car feels. One of my biggest concerns with finding a new proper seat is that I won't be able to get it that low. I could move it up an inch and still be fine but I love that super low sitting position.

Rails that sit on the floor are a lot lower than stock. I don't know exactly how much but its significant.

As for the harness holes....I have a long torso...long enough where I have to get a lot of my clothes custom tailerd to fit . My harness sit in the proper place. But either way I would try out the seats and make sure they are a fit for you

thats the exact reason i was asking ive heard all about compressing the back in an accident and the car will be tracked a lot but also street driven so im a little apprehensive about getting something like a kirky because they look so uncomfortable but a lot of my drag racing friends love them. its kinda tough to test the seat comfort for a three hour drive when the only ones u can use are in 8 second turbo cars lol
