I'm not too sure about the Pole Position but my RS-G has "RECARO" stamped on the back. Also, this seat is probably quite old a if "RECARO" is not stitched behind the headrest. If he took off the FIA sticker, there should be another sticker maybe even 2 on the bottom side of the seat. The stitching looks pretty good as the fake ones are usually crooked and there's a higher chance that it may be real if he is using Recaro sliders and side mount. I have owned a handful of both RS-Gs and SPGs but never a Pole Position. But as others have noted, if there isn't an FIA sticker, I would personally pass.

I'm skeptical when he uses "genuine" 3 times in the first three lines. if its, real I'll say it once and let the pictures do the talking.

My pole position is from 2008 and has the stitching in the back. I too would personally pass without the stickers. It's either pretty old or fake.

Pass. Too old or fake.

Who in their right mind would take the sticker off?

Yeah I'm going to pass on this.. Thanks guys. Not worth saving $150 and be worried that I'm not actually being protected.

BTW, anyone local to West LA within 10 to 15 miles with a Pole position installed I can check out?

Probably took the stickers off because he has one of those weird cars where you can see behind the drivers seat and thought it would look cleaner.
Not a good idea for resale.
