Default Rebuilding shocks

I have a set of used JRZ shocks that I plan to install for next season. I'm thinking they should be inspected and possibly rebuilt first. Any recommendations for a rebuilder? Rough price estimate? What questions/services should I be asking the rebuilder about?

This will be for an AP1 A Stock autocross application.

I forgot who I got these from, but I think at one time they may have belonged to pedalfaster?

Thanks

expect $250-300 per shock for a full rebuild

Ouch. That's expensive.

That's the going rate. It's more if you are changing the valving and utilizing the Roehrig.

You won't feel the difference at NASA events

*ducks* but not scared since Voo is too lazy to drive to LS on Oct 3rd and bet for pinks

You don't need them as SCCA events.

You gonna out to the Oct 11th/12th NASA event at BW and chill with us? I've got close to 20 cars going.

Real shocks are for race cars.

I can't chill right now, too much going on before SEMA, Time Attack, end of SCCA ITE season etc.

Take some pics of your parade laps

*ducks again*

No where near as much as the replacement cost. Considering what I paid for them, I'll still be way ahead over the cost of new ones.

I know, just still hurts when you see the bill.
