Default Reccomended Swaybar

Well, Comptech is gone, so no more swaybars from them.

I am leary of all the problems people have reported about the Saner bar.

It is my understanding that to a point, the Gendron bar suffers some of the same issues of the Saner bar, but to a lesser degree.

It sounds like the Tanabe might be too light.

I haven't seen much reported about the Swift or the Mugen.

Any suggestions from the track junkies?

I'll play.

It may depend on what you want it for. I have the medium Gendron bar, and it's fine (set on a medium stiffness, the car is fairly neutral).

i like my swift front and rear sways. the rear is stiffer than the front, though. Not sure if that is what you are looking for.

In the event one ever wants to autocross in stock class, it's worth keeping in mind that you can't mess with the rear sway bar and stay in stock class.

You're right of course.

What I need is a little adjustability. As the car is right now, it's great for the tighter autocross courses or courses with multiple pivot cones, but it has a little too much oversteer for the faster courses and track days. I need a range of adjustment from near stock stiffness to probably at least 50% stiffer than stock, and the finer the range of adjustment the better. Additionally I don't whant to have problems with the bar down the road.

We're about to replace the tires and fluids and if I can find a bar that will do the job we'll also swap out the front sway bar while she's on the rack.

Any leads would be appreciated.

Well not so fast.

Rick's picked up the last CT Adjustable and one of the last sets of their set. I just have not had time to post them FS. So if anyone is interested, let me know.

Any plans from Rick on bringing a bar to the market?
