Redline MT-90 and other fluid questions
Has anyone tried MT-90 as a replacement for Honda MTF.
What weight is Honda MTF? The owners manual says replace with Honda MTF or 10-W30 or 10-W40 oil.
Redlines MT-90 is a 75W90 GL-4 gear oil. Is that compatible with our transmission. I liked what this oil did to my MR2.
I knew my MR-2 took 75W90 gear oil though.
I'm planning on replacing the brake fluid and clutch fluid soon. How much fluid will I need to buy to flush and fill both?
Thanks...

Their are quite a few of us with mt90 in our trannies and most people really like it. It has been found at times to make shifting kind of notchy when it's cold but when it warms up it works very well and makes shifting in this car fun again
. It also puts up with heat a lot better than Honda MTF.
I don't know the weight for honda mtf sorry but I'm sure someone else can chime in on it.
