Now that the car has evolved into a track only vehicle I need to shed the weight.....so how the heck do you get this cr-p off????

Any insight is appreciated!

what are you reffering to? sound deadening (goof off and elbow grease) or the foil tar stuff on the transmission tunnel (fingers)?

The idea is that if you get it cold enough it will become brittle. Have you ever frozen a Snickers bar? Same thing.

Thanks for the clarification Mike.

I was almost thinking if I get it hot enought with a heat gun it would peel off.....but the getting it cold idea makes sense also.

Such a regret....spend all the time putting it in....and now spend more time taking it out....

oh well

Non chlorinated brake cleaner works well to remove the sticky residue. Dry ice works, but there is no easy way to remove it.
