Default Replacing my front swaybar

I am planning to replace my front bar with a bigger one. After reading alot of threads, the ease of the job will be important for me. I dont want to have to saw/ cut things, grind down screws or rig things up with stuff from Home Depot-know what I mean? Which of sway bars usually discussed are fairly straight forward to put on?

Most of it is the same and is not hard. If you really take your time, it takes a couple of hours. There seems to be a few gotchas with some of the bars but I don't think you need to worry much about them, especially with stock shocks (most of the clearance issues seem to be related to larger shock bodies - you can't plan for everything).

It's really just a few nuts and bolts...

In the future I will probabably go with different springs and or shocks, so that does change things? Are there particular brands that are more compatible?

The Comptech ADJ bar was a straight up bolt on.

Just make sure you load the suspension (jack up the lower a-arm) before you do the final tightening

Dunno. The search function should provide a number of threads where specific shocks caused issues. It's always (usually?) the endlinks that are the problem. Maybe the stock endlinks would cure that but many folks have reported them breaking. I've been lucky so far...

Mine is also this bar (I've had both versions and the installation was the same). However, you should use the loading regardless of bar type.

The new saner bar, available at GoFastLab, is a direct bolt on with no fitment issues.

Asura, it was the saner bar threads I read that scared me away. Guys talked about grinding down edges, not getting directions etc.
