roll bar with biggest head clerance
Hi Guys,
I'm fairly tall 6'1 with long legs, I have to sit toward the back in order to have enough leg room.
I'm looking at various bolt in roll bar options, and I'm unsure of which one to go with.
Mostly I'm concerned with having too little head clerance (front/back) between my head and the roll bar.
So which roll bar have the main hoop closest to the back of the car?
Randy

Pretty much everything out there sits right in front of the factory roll hoops but I'd say the hard dog probably has the most as far as bolt in off the shelf goes. Your best bed would be a custom made one for a car that is hard top only with removed interior if you really really need a lot of room.
I'm nearly 6'4 with a hard dog, and I have plenty of clearance, so you should be fine at 6'1.
I did make a custom non adjustable seat bracket and I'm using a Corbeau bucket seat to get as low as possible though. On a stock seat, or with sliding rails I'd probably be a bit too tall in my seat to feel safe.
Hope this helps.
