The video is about 2 laps in August, at Spa de Francorchamps with my car.

It was quite nice trying to keep up with an ultra fast Corvette C06.

It is quite stunning to actually see the difference of those cars regarding acceleration, handling, braking etc.

I hate to point out the obvious, but what you have there is a base C6 and not a Z06.

Still good driving and great camera work.

 

Yes that's true. It was pointed out to me that this was a Z06.

There is something special about driving on a track that has so much history. Especially, when you get to see professional cars on television or in person driving on the same track.

 

Ok, that's not a Z06, Its a plane C6 (no fender flares). Power vs balance should be changed to good driver vs not so great. I love my S2000. But I've spent a fair bit of time track in a Z06, Build quality aside, it does EVERYTHING better then an S2000. My complaints with a Z06, the interior is the same as a Silverado Work Truck. The Driver controls are mere suggestions as to the operation of the vehicle, You don't drive it so much as you hang onto it after you suggest that it does something (like turn). That said, They are pretty awesome and they do everything better then my Little S.

 

Can't really argue on anything like that since i haven't driven any Corvette at all. I can't but take your opinion on that!

If i am not mistaken the C06 wasn't quite a great car, handling wise, as the Z06 - and based on that and what i saw at the track the driver wasn't bad at all.

Or maybe i was just as bad as he was! I can live with that!

The point of the video wasn't to prove which is best, i just wanted to point out a difference i spotted whilst trying to follow the Corvette.
