You missed the scca school by a few weeks. but your arc license should allow you to get a school exemption and get your novice permit. then after 2 scca races that novice permit becomes a full license.
this is how I did it in 2005. I never went to the school, but my previous experience was enuf to get my novice permit.
Contact Colleen at Thunderhill and she should be able to get you in touch whichever person is in charge of the exemption/whatever they call it.

Sweet. I spoke with Colleen the other day about the open track event in April. She asked if I had my SCCA license and I told her "No--only ARC". She says, "oh, do they even have a license?" Guess I'll have to laminate it to make it look more legit!
May show up for that and do a shakedown on the 8th. Have spent the past few hours cleaning out the cobwebs (literally). Wondering how much traction my NT-01s have lost in the past couple years....

Colleen isn't the person who would get you a novice permit, but she'd give you the number of the person to call. I'd do it regardless if you think you'll want to race this year.
