But you can come into Turn 5 too hot (the inputs being high mph speed) but your corner exit speed is what is important. R-Comps or not, I should be able to match your speed going into Turn 8 but it's because my Turn 5 skills are horrible, that I sacrifice too much time.
[QUOTE=VitaRenovatio,Jul 6 2009, 06:19 PM] ^ Bad name? The only point-by's I ever give are to other S2000s.
I think your analysis also shows that I am a royal
when it comes to turn 9. So scary!
Also, it appears Jaku is using some form of KERS down the back straight! 125+ mph through turn 8!

PS. Your software rules. Mine sucks.

I also used a TrackMate, and I thought the software was more intuitive, but ultimately offered the same functionality. The TrackMate is more popular with the Miata crowd, but it seems the G2X is favored among the S2000 crowd--so I bought the G2X.
Ed, turn 2 is important also. I noticed your speed is a little low there. When I was on street tires and properly tuned suspension, I was able to hit about 89mph, and 91 on R comp. I though your turn 8 speed was pretty good, as I could only get 119 as well, however, my turn 9 is at 98-99mph with street tires and 99 to 101 with r comp. Every time I finished taking turn 9, felt like I just peed in my pants, especially when my rear left wheel hit the dirt as I exit.
Greetings from Taiwan
.
Thanks guys, for sharing your photos, data, and go fast secrets. I still have tons of room to improve on the big track.
It's only my 5th day back in Taiwan, and I'm already missing driving my S.
Yo Jaku, don't forget to call me when you get back to Taiwan.
