Saner is around again
After researching on the forums it looked like the best bet for a budget from sway bar would be a saner bar in comparison to the gendron that is available imo. I haven't seen any available on the fs forums since I came to s2ki.com but recently found them on ebay. So I figured I would share with the rest of you that they are still making bars and selling them there.

I'm not affiliated with them whatsoever. Just thought I would share.....

Call me pessimistic, but can anybody confirm if these are "the real deal"?
I had a saner, but even with the addition of a fourth hole it was still not stiff enough to eliminate inside wheel lift/spin when running on Hoosiers.
This is a reference to scca A stock setup.
I just had a custom bar made that should be about 30-60% stiffer if I remember the fabricator's numbers correctly but I'm still waiting to install/test the bar to see if it will get the job done.
Like I said, I don't remember the exact numbers but I do remember that back of the envelope calculations put it in the range of the Gendron and comptech bars, although my bar will only have 2 points of adjustment. Maybe 3 if he decided to suprise me (this is a first gen bar).
He used the OE bar as a template for fitment so it should be fine.
Anywho, the point is...he hasn't told me how much he will sell them for but he may make a small batch or two if testing is promising for what will probably be significantly less than the Gendron/Comptech but probably more than the Saner, although I don't know what you can pick a Saner up for these days, but like I said it's not enough for R-comps.
I probably won't have the bar for a while and the season is basically over, so I won't get to test it till next spring but I will surely let everyone know how it goes.

and---he answers his phone! just my experience.
Just a note: The Sanar bar I got earlier this year (July I think) was bright blue, not black like the Ebay ones. I assume they are still the same tho.
here was mine: http://picasaweb.google.com/mvm5mvm5/SanerBar#
I was skeptical about these bars being the real deal as well since the ebay feedback on this person was about dolls but they answered all my questions. I got their phone number to order an extra set of end links just in case they dissappeared for a few years again and they ended up sending me an extra set for free!
