Default Saner bar ratlling/squeaking?

I got my saner bar on at Full soft where the links are reversed on the A-arm mount. Its been making a knocking/rattling noise over bumps and it squeaks a bit too.

The noise comes from both sides of the car - if theres a bump on the right it comes from the right and vice versa

I just checked and tightened the end links + added about 1/2inch to the length to make sure nothings knocking the a arm or something. I can see when the cars on the ground there plently of clearance for everything but the noise is still there.

anyone know where the noise is coming from or is it just normal for this bar?

Make sure each bolt/nut is tightened.

Dan...try wrapping the section of the bar at the bushings with teflon tape.

One thing that worked for me was to band clamp a piece of rubber just outside the chassis mounts of the Saner bar. This limits the side to side movement of the bar.

Even with that, the bar has to be positioned very carefully to avoid hitting shocks, etc during normal driving.

Urethane/teflon bushings will eliminate the problem.

The endlinks may be bad.

Mine made all sort of noises. I was constantly checking the endlinks. Never really found any problems though. Yet another reason to avoid that bar. My Gendron bar has been completely hassle free.

it sounds like the end links are swapping position, i was wondering if theres a way to set it up so they cannot swap over and if this is safe?

MY endlinks are making noise with everything being tight. I had some new ones sent and I will be trying those out. They look like a different manufacturer..
