SCCA Auto-X classification
I am wondering how much can we do to our s2k's without being bumped out of our orriginal class. I think the class is AS but i could be wrong. What i mean is what would bump us to like the modified, i think thats what it is, class?

for a good discussion about car setup and the SCCA. One change on that page (it was written last year) is that the S2000 is in B-Stock (not A-Stock).

Don't forget, the S2000 is also eligible for the new StreetMod2 class, where pretty much anything goes. In fact, you could swap an NSX motor into the Stook and it would still be legal. Any forced induction mod, sequential tranny, AWD conversion... anything you can dream up is legal.
Also, in addition to Brad's update about B-Stock, the S2000 is definitely classed in ASP, and would probably slot into FP or EP instead of AP. Regardless, BS, ASP and SM2 are probably the three most popular places to run an S2000.

The issue of what to do (if anything) about SS/AS/BS tweaking is still up for member comment. If you've got an opinion one way or the other, write it and send it. I don't expect the Stock Advisory Committee to be making a firm recommendation until post Nationals.
