Default Seat Options

So... I'm considering a bucket for the track and I have narrowed it down to a few requirements:

- must not have any fitment issues (scrubbing console or door)
- was going for the fabric pole position but apparently the seatbelt hole isn't big enough? I don't wish to be playing with any safety tolerances.
- preferably under 1200
- was looking at: sparco evo, sparco rev, recaro profi SPG, recaro pole position, recaro apex, omp champ etc.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

I do not believe the recaro SPG fits without rubbing the center console or door. My glovebox does not open without hitting the seat and the shoulder wing is still hitting the door. Your best bet might be the pole position, as it is a narrower seat at the shoulders.

I think what's more important than hitting the door or center console, is that you fit in the seat.

I have a sparco evo, in order to not hit the door I had to dremel off part of the side edges (wasn't that hard) and now I don't have door contact. It does block the center console a bit.

Sounds like you might want to look into a Pro2000 or give up the console use. I personally really like my Evo seat.

We sell a lot of pole positions for the s2000 because they fit without hindering much, and also due to the lower, sloped bolster - its easier to get in and out of the car vs. other seats.

^Same for me but it is an easy mod and the Evo fits me and I'm 6'2" 230. I run it without the bottom cushion to stay low and give me more head room (roll cage).

I like our Sparco Evos. It will indent the top of the door card unless you dremel. Personally I'd rather have an indented door card than a shaved seat, so that's how I roll.

Im surprised the seat accomodates such a wide variety of driver sizes. I'm 165lbs 5'8" and it fits very comfortably. I don't daily it but its definitely better than any Bride I've ever used.
