Default Self alignment...

Anybody ever do this type of alignment on their S2000 at home or at the tracks?

Here's is a link...

I know it's a different car, but same concept of measuring. How accurate is this? One advantage is that you can do this at the track or basically anytime you want.

Also it would be a much cheaper alternative then to goto Westend alignment everytime you mess with your suspensions or change your wheel setup or anything else.

Strings take time to become efficient with. Setting total toe vs individual toe is different. Meaning, your total toe could be 0 even if you have 1/16" toe in left and 1/16" toe out right. Yes you could tell from your steering wheel being off, but you are also at the mercy of the imperfections in the tarmac surface.

It can be accurate if you are precise with the equipment. There are slightly better string devices available.

Personally I prefer the Hunter laser alignment machines.

Hunter laser alignment machines? It sounds awefully big (the word machine) to have it in the garage? You have any information regarding this product? Thanks...

Actually that is the commercial unit most shops use. My point being that I prefer and trust the machines accuracy.
