Default Shock leaking or is this normal?

One of my shocks leaves an oil ring on the shaft after a drive. The other 3 shocks show no signs of this. Check out the pic, this was after I wiped all the old off and then drove for 20 minutes. Would you consider this normal or a problem?

Thanks

If the other 3 are doing this then I'd say there is a problem.

i can't really see much in the pic. Generally you shouldn't be seeing oil...the o ring can look a little wet but outside of that it should be dry. If only 1 of the 4 looks different than the others I'd definitely say contact AST and see what they say. I know the seals are a often mentioned weakness of AST.

Good luck with that. I just realized AST USA is no longer connected with Hanchey and AST is looking for a new US importer hub.

You should still be able to contact AST-USA (now HVT - Hanchey Vehicle Technologies). They are good guys there and should be able to help you out.
