Default shopping for driving/racing shoes

I'm looking for some reasonably priced driving/racing shoes in the $65 - $80 range. Crow, RPS, G-Force seem to be my options and seem similar in design and construction. Anyone have a personal review or comparison or experience with these?

I do not race in any sanctioned events - just doing track days.

Thanks.

I have the Puma Speedcats and I like them as a driving shoe for autocross.

G-Force makes a nice shoe for the price.

Piloti makes some nice shoes in that price range. I bought the Spyders last year for autocross.

I like my OMPs.

I would caution you against worrying about $5-10. Even if you find some shoes that are $150 and others that are $50, just pick the ones you like best. You'll be using them in events that cost a lot more money than that difference....

puma speedcats are great if you are autocrossing, but for racing they are not fire/flame retardant and you are unable to use them...
