Hey guys, I'm a little confused about the side splitters points for the s2k and was wondering if anyone has totaled points for this? The side skirts in the rules say that the side skirts must be vertical, and side splitters are essentially a diffuser for the side of the car.

Are the points included in the canards section or splitter section? Or are they in fact the same points as side skirts?

"side diffusers" are considered side skirts with NASA. If you are reffering to the side skirts that everyone runs on S2000s.

 

The wasp side splitters are considered skirts as well?

 

Yes, they're 2pts. Just take them off. They dont do anything.

Technically I don't have them. I am just trying to see what mods I can combine together for points I am already taking. 2016 rules allows for a different rear bumper if you already take points for a rear diffuser, which benefits me because I have a diffuser and a bumper.
