If they get this NY guys plane fixed by tomarrow... (which will probably happen) I gota pick him up and take him out to Palm Springs tuesday through sat or sunday. (side job for me)

I know you all have track days during the week... anyone know of one this week? Is there even a track fairly close to Thermal/Palm Springs?

Im gona rent something nice if I can make it to a track day.

 

Speedventures is at horse thief mile this coming weekend.

Its not one of the "epic" ca tracks but its supposed to be a lot of fun and is at willow springs which is about as close to palm desert as you're gonna get.

they have some guy bringing the part up on a pickup truck from atlanta tonight. It will be here at 5 am tomarrow... so It looks like im going

but Im only staying till saturday. And, not to discourage anyone, but my buddy that just moved out there told me horse thief isnt even worth the drive. very tight track. But hes never been there, so whatever.... just heard from his friends out there

I am gona make the trip to LA to hang out with him... so ill keep an eye out for S2ks.

 

VARA (vintage, http://www.vararacing.com/Overall1.html ) will be at Cal Speedway this Fri-Sun, in case you wanted to at least visit the facility. They will be running the full roadcourse (infield + oval) as we often do.
