Default Source for take off slicks?

I'm looking for a good source for take off slicks for my 18x10s. Any suggestions?

For those of you that have run take offs, what compound/hardness do you recommend?

You have to constantly check--search under Hoosier tires on ebay.eventually they will popup. I have bought at least 20 tires 16s 17s and 18s.

Here are a few to try from the back of GRM:

1) www.jbracingtires.net

2) RC Enterprises, usdrctrs@aol.com, ph: 843.762.7324

3) Bob's Speed Products, ph: 954.764.5912

I also heard about www.tireswap.com

there isn't that much difference between hooiser dot and hooiser slicks (other than the groove). but yes the tires they run in grand-am are slicks.

how's bob's inventory these days? he's slinging hooisers I take it?

No 18s at all from Bob.

The guy at www.jbracingtires.net was most helpful. Nothing in stock right now, but he'll give me a call when they get some in.

The LSD in my diff is shot. Should I stick with stock or go with something else? I'll be replacing gears at the same time since it's open. I'm going to stick with 4.56 FD.
