Hi guys,

I've signed up for the Redline something event at Streets of Willow on Friday, Oct. 24th.
Anyone else coming?
I will probably have two of my friends from work coming as well - a 95 or 96 M3 (with suspension work & a chip) and a CRX (no engine to talk about, but a lot of suspension work). The CRX is still a question mark, since he's still planning on a new engine.
Anyhow, I was looking forward to go to a Speedventures event (better organized!), but this guys should be OK. Last time I've been at SOW with Redline it was like highway at rush hour. They said though that they won't allow anymore that many cars on the track at the same time.

Pahrump = 300 mi from SD
SOW = 180 mi from SD
... and I've already said yes to my friends at work for this event. I was hoping to see you driving that "lightened" S2000 of yours .
Speedventures have another event at Buttonwillow and I'd like to go to that one (Nov. 7). Hopefully my project will not go completely nuts on me, so I can make it.

I'm going to put my disgusting yellow Corbeau Forza seat in this weekend. I've attempted the same thing last weekend, with a friend of mine. Not having a DVD like for the rollbar it proved this task to be close to impossible - especially after I've bought a welding machine and we could not figure it out how to make it work . After that, I've decided to stick with what I'm good at and leave the fabrication art to the pro's. At least 'til the next project .
I'll bet you'll get a kick out of my seat when you'll see it: I had to get rid of the left wing, so it looks quite funny. I hope though that I'll be able to keep the rails, so I can move the seat back and forth. Oh, well, we'll see...

Well I hope to see you at BW on 11/7. Your seat would be great for NASCAR. . BTW, my car is not lightened vs. stock . The Eldabar and Willans probably weighs more than what was left out after installation.

 

Hey Guys, that rush hour on the race track thing will never happen again. That was the only time that ever happened at a redline event. We'll never put more than 18 cars out on that track in a group. That one event with the overbooking problem was a fluke.

Now this next event on Oct 24 is looking very good. Not to many people signed up at this point, so it may turn out to be a very light traffic day. We've had a few S2ki guy turn up at many of our events over this last year, and so far we've been getting very positive feedback. Our events are getting much more organized.

Thanks for giving us another chance George, I'm sure you wont be disipointed at this next event.
