Default Sparco s2000 base doesn't fit!?!

I recently purchased two Sparco Evo seats, side mounts and seat bases directly from sparcousa.com

I went to install everything tonight, and found that the passenger side seat base (that has a big sticker on it that says "s2000 passenger") doesn't line up with the bolt holes in the floor. I've tried bending, twisting, etc, there is just no way these bolts are going to line up. All the scratch marks you see are from the crowbar I was trying to use to muscle it into place

You would think with a reputable company like sparco, and a part made specifically for the s2000 this wouldn't happen. Here are some pictures.

Please tell me I missed something, I rather feel like a retard than have to deal with sending this part back. I've tried rotating it every possible way, this is the only way that gets anywhere close

The bolt in the left rear hole is threaded in:

The bolt in the right front hole is also threaded in:

here is where things get hairy..

right rear bolt is not going in.

left front bolt is so far off it's not even funny:

Here is the label just so you don't think they sent me the wrong one:

I have two weeks to get these seats together before I head down to VIR, and now I have to deal with trying to get this in time.

^it might take a little fiddling around for i had that issue with my sparco and bride mounts. Be sure not to tighten them much so there is some 'slack' in movement.

Yup, don't tighten any of the bolts. Get the bolts just barely threaded and tighten the whole frame down. It's tight, but it's supposed to be.

I dunno. I'll try again tomorrow, but I don't see any way this thing is going to bolt in. I tried like hell, with none of the bolts very tight at all.

Ericshun had the same problem with his recaro rail. I'm going to look at it Sunday. Maybe they modeled it off of a 2006+?

Maybe you're putting the front and back reversed? Not sure, but I think that some bolts are not lined up in a parallel fashion. (Not sure if that makes sense).

I know for a fact that 06+ passenger rails are slightly different from past years. I believe it was the front mounting holes that were changed.

Just keep rotating the bracket around and keep the bolts very loose... other than that it just won't fit... I would send them an email so they get it fresh in the morning for a quick reply...

hopefully they fit easy without having to send them back.. good luck!
