If only we could have that kind of event in the Bay Area!...I would gladly pay $80 for that many runs. Any auto minded entrepreneurs out there?

Sign up with GGLC, they do roughly 14 or so runs and it's 60 bucks with lunch.
They run at Marina and Great America.

Thanks for the info Mac...I live north of the GG Bridge and Marina is a 3 hour run for me....Great America would be a 150 mile round trip. Now if Candlestick Park or Oakland Colleseum were still running Auto X I would be there like a shot.

SCCA uses both of those as well as Golden Gate Fields but they're only doing 4 runs. The last SCCA auto x at Great America had 4 runs and then morning fun runs before the afternoon session if I'm remembering correctly.

BTW you're wish came true and you're still not happy you should have said "close to my house" instead of bay area j/k

I didn't make it out to this one, but I got well over 30 runs the previous time I went. I could've gotten more, but I decided to park the car for a bit and I left early.
