I thought it was near the end of the straight near the pits? I guess it makes more sense to put it where it is to keep speeds from getting too far out of control in that straight. That track is such a monster... I get overwhelmed by the number of turns at Spring Mountain; I could never memorize the Ring. I like the game version better anyway... much cheaper when I crash.
So... who's going to Big Willow?
the "Nurburgring of the Mojave Desert"
OK, mabe we'll just stick with "Fastest Road in the West"
I hope to be doing sub-1:25's, but the problem with this car is that, if I'm running out of track, I can't just drop 2 or four wheels and then get back on as I often do with the S in turn 9. It's game over for the weekend, maybe worse . And if anyone gets behind me, please don't follow too close 'cause if I miss a shift or spin out, you might run me over.

Saturday is very nearly full, but there's still several spaces open for Sunday.
btw...
Bubble is back! It's been a year since I had my S2000 on the track, so this weekend I'm going to actually bring her out!!! (She was feeling neglected) I'll be on over heat-cycled, nearly bald S-02s, so don't expect super fast lap times. I will, however, be giving rides.

That is awesome Drew... Can't wait to see her this weekend...
boy my car looked different back then... clean and shiny, pretty yellow grilles, lots of blue tape, and a bra even. (Bubble used to be modest)
At least with Bonds closing in on the record, people finally know why I picked 756 as my number. Back then, I may have been the only one around who even believed it possible. Go Barry!!
I've long since dumped the bra and blue tape, and three years of constant track events have definitely left their mark...
Poor Bubble; even the yellow paint has faded... :sigh:
The years of wear and tear have changed Barry's appearance a bit too, but it had nothing to do with steriods!
