didnt Speedventures come to TWS (Texas World Speedway) some time ago? Man it would be great if some of you west coast guys could come back.

They couldn't convince enuf of the CA guys to do the drive and they couldn't get enuf TX guys to come to the events. lost big $.

Did they try running any up here? We can lose them money as good as those Texans and East Coast types can!

Aaron tried, but there weren't any good dates available this year. (Other than the Jan 20 event @ Laguna) I'm sure he'll try again next year.

Sears and Laguna are near-impossible to get for typical track-day clubs, and the business case is always marginal for SV's bargain pricing (very high risk of not breaking even due to extreme track fees). But to their credit, Aaron and John still take any reasonable date they're offered, partly because it keeps them higher in the pecking order for coming years.

Not sure why they don't do more dates at THill, as there seem to be plenty of club dates there; I think they're just not getting offered dates that work out for them.

I know Sears and laguna are hard to get, but if anything more events at Thunderhill would be great.
