Default Spring Rate Recommendation

I've searched yet but I didn't find any spring rate discussion, more like damper discussion, wheels or alignment.

Can anyone help?

Just looking for spring rate recommendation from leader in racing events.

I'll use it mainly for low speed track (average speed 80-100 km/h) and Auto-X

I have shocks that I want to run, just need spring atm.

Forgot to add my setup:

255/40/17 all around, J's Type II Wing, J's Aero, Whiteline FSB, Whiteline Xbrace and Megan Racing Bumpsteer Kit.

Thanks in advance

Erik

Stock Spring Rate you mean?

Which one?

I'm recommended 9kg and 8kg (F & R) and will be running Star Spec Tyres

You may want to check out the STR prep resource thread... The guys in there (myself included) are running 255 street tires such as then star specs non-staggered for autox. I have 700lb front 600lb rear, with the oem 01 FSB and no rear sway. There are other setups un there as well.

Any where from 850 to 500 should be fine.

I'll be using AST shocks.

9kg = 510 lb/s, 8kg = 450 lbs.

I'll be switching from Tein SRC (1000 lb/s all around) to AST valved for 450 lbs - 680 lbs (8kg - 12kg)

You can buy AST with optional Swift, Hyperco and their own spring (not sure who made it)

AST is also Euro if I remember correctly and the European coils almost always are designed with softer spring rates but doesn't necessarily mean less performance.
