Default Spring Rates for Track Only

I have a set of JRZ single adjustable dampers. I need to get them rebuilt as I am unsure of their present condition. Both of the rears are leaking oil from being stored. So while I am at it, I figured it will get them re-valved and increase the spring rates. I have never used these before and they were initially setup by Elda Engineering for Track/Street. 550 Front, 400 rear. I have been running PSS9 with their stock springs on the car it it was been fine. Looking to lower it a bit more, and wanted stiffen as needed.

So I am really looking for comments on the string rates I should consider, based on what other here have done. The car weighs in at just over 2600 and I am running 6URL 17x10 F/R with 255/275 NT01.

Strat,

I'm running 628 (110) front and 571 (100) rear on KW V3s with a Comptech adjustable sway bar set on 3 out of 5 and the 01 rear sway bar, 245x4 Hoosier R6s. I'm within .07 seconds of the S2000 lap record at Summit Point with this setup.

I'm going to try to get the V3s revalved this winter and try a spring rate of around 700 all around. Do you have a full cage? A cage will stiffen the car quite a bit and handle stiffer springs better.

It seems like the west coast guys run more spring than we do on the east coast.

Yeah, that was the point to see what others were running, and why. I tried to search and that info seams to not be posted anywhere easy to find. I just it is listed, in a thread for each instead of a thread on the topic. It was the only topic that was not part of the sticky.

Do you guys tend to run pretty rough surfaces? I agree, most west coast guys run on the stiff side. Given your tires (255/275) i would say run square rates around 800#. Hyperco or Swift.

Track only? 800-850 front, 700 rear. Somewhere around there.

Stock Ap1 front and none in the rear. We do keep the rear bar there just in case we need to hook it up. But most tracks here we don't use it.
