Hi all, I am the driver of the only 350Z there on Friday. Once again, I had a blast with the Speedventures group; very well run and organized.
I was really interested to see how the Z would compare against the Stooks in their real element; a tight, twisting, low speed track. I was giving rides all day so I only ran without a passenger for about 5 laps or so. I also didn't run the last session where it looks like everyone ran their fastest laps under the cooling conditions and cloud cover. It might also help if I was a 150lb driver instead of a 250lb fat ass!!! I know, excuses excuses, so I'll quit my whining. I was pleased with my 1:39.365, about .8 seconds off the T6 class winning Boxster. I feel there was at least another second left in the car under the cooler conditions, but that is purely speculation, so flame away!
Judging by tire wear, I need a front adjustable A arm to dial in some negative camber. The front wheels sit practically vertical and that isn't helping at all. There is no provision at all in the factory suspension for front camber adjustment!!
See you guys there next time.

Like my daddy always told me; "Always have your excuse ready before you ever set foot in the car!"
I won T6 last time out at Buttonwillow so I can't wait to go back there with a bit more tweaking. See you guys next time!!!!!!!!
