Default A Stock Exceptions

Just raced my first Solo II this week. Reps weren't sure of allowed mods in A stock class. I have a Cold air intake and Cat-back exhaust. One of the other racers said this was legal in AS class since the exhaust was Cat back only. My car is a 2004 with both of these mods, which class should I be classified?

Intake is not legal. Catback is legal. As is, the car is in B Street Prepared.

Curious if anyone can explain 'in a nutshell' what would make a s2k a SM2 or ASP/BSP ?

Since my cai and exhaust I have been in SM2. Someone said I should/could run in a SP class but in my area there is almost no one in those, at least in SM2 I get some vette and porsche action.

Thanks in advance

And if you take off the intake, you'll be in A Stock. The good news about that is, based on the dyno day results I've seen you'll probably gain power going back to the stock intake...

In a nutshell:

Stock: front swaybar, adjustable shocks with stock external dimensions, cat-back muffler, any DOT legal tire that fits on stock wheels

Street Prepared: Intake up to the head, exhaust downstream from the head, custom engine management, any springs, any shocks, any swaybars, non-standard bushings, replace one control arm per corner, race seats, update/backdate parts from different model years (engine and transmission are each non-divisible units), any wheels and DOT legal tires, flare fenders

Street Mod: Any SP mods, engine block must be a production unit made by Honda, drivetrain otherwise unrestricted, suspension unrestricted as long as it attaches to the stock attachment points.
