From what i read on here
Stock AP2's run rich

Can someone explain why adding Intake/Exhaust mods will not LEAN it out?

I guess I'm thinking logically...
Stock AP2's run rich > Adding more Air> Leans it out == BETTER PERFORMANCE.


But from what i have read on other threads the Computer actually compensates and adds more fuel making it run even richer.


My goal is to understand"
how Adding an aftermarket Intake, Headers, and high flow CAT will affect my 07' S2k?

If i add these mods, will my car require some sort of Tune (which i here is almost non-existent for 06+ S2k's)?

i have those mods and my car's runnin lean as hell

 

OEM Cat is high flow

Either go with Test pipe or stick with OEM

I read that AP2 are leaner then AP1... It was a article going back to '04 on the first Ap2 release.

I don't know how much merit it has, but if anyone have a A/F graph with similar mods and stock ECU, please post
