Default StopTech Big Brake Kit

I just bought a big brake kit from StopTech, and need to replace my OE wheels in order to fit them. Is anyone using this kit now, and if so, what wheels and offsets are you using?

Any help is appreciated.

The SSR GT-7s fit with no spacer, with the standard offset from tirerack. 50mm. I couldn't believe it either but I've seen it with my own eyes.

I'm also looking forward to answers to this question, anyone using this brake kit with Volks? If so what size offset and spacer are you using. Thanks

kitwetzler,

Do you know if the 04 wheels clear most aftermarket big brake kit?

Thanks.

100% way to find out if the wheels will fit is if you can get a hold of the exact wheel. Then use this wheel fitment template.

328mm kit
http://www.stoptech.com/wheelfitchart/PDF/...as2000front.pdf

355mm kit
http://www.stoptech.com/wheelfitchar...29-2470-00.PDF

Here are instructions on how to use those
http://www.stoptech.com/wheelfitchar...ctions/how.htm

That should help immensely.

I'm curious if the S2000 Stoptech rears will be coming out. Last we heard they *might* be ready by Dec Jan.

So I also know that the stoptechs will clear my front's with a 3mm spacer. I'm running 18x7.5 SSR Type-C +40 offsets painted to match SSR Comps

The SSR GT7 wheel is also light, strong, and will keep you in the stock class for autocross.....

I haven't seen anyone sporting those yet...hopefully Kitweztler is correct

I don't think the GT7 would be stock-legal for auto-x - isn't the '04 front wheel 17x7? IIRC the GT7 is a 7.5

Luke at Tirerack might be able to help you out. He can look for wheels that he has on hand.
