Yes Josh, S2000s have a real balance problem, that's why they can only run at 9000 rpms.
So, I think you should buy one of those and fix that problem.

Seems helpful if you want to build the mythical $50k STR car...

I was wondering what you are even refering to and came accross this

Doesn't sound like any STR build would require one of these. Just not enough HP or mods to justify it.

I could see how it would help on a motor that is modded (aftermarket Pistons or rods) and is no longer "ballanced" persay. If I was building a 300whp NA K24 or F22, I'd be highly considering dropping the dim on this.

The reason for the mod is to drop rotating mass and dampen engine viberations at high rpms. The s2000 has really bad engine viberations above 8,000 RPMs. Some people buy none damping crank pulleys to save weight but this causes premature wear which leads to engine failure.

The stock crank pulley weights 4.37 LBS, the ATI pulley is claiming 2.20 LBS. Thats 2.17 LBS off rotating mass off the crank. I DD my car so I would never put a solid alum one on my car.

I already have the T1R acc. pulleys-
