Support the cause - FXMD to World Time Attack
You know the saying goes:
"How do you make a small fortune in racing? -Start out with a large one?"
Well this couldn't be more true. FXMD is a grassroots, low budget team with a lot of great people apart of and in support of the race program. We don't have a rig or a big budget like many of our competitors but manage to get by. We have tons of people at the track on our team, all of which are volunteers and dedicated to the group effort. While I know driving on the track is not a cheap hobby (and many S2K owners track their car and are familiar with that), but any charitable donation of any amount adds up and makes a huge difference in our effort to go to Australia to represent the USA. Please read the rest of the thread for more info.
FX Motorsports Development is going to Australia!

Support the cause:
As you may have heard, FXMD and our FX750 were invited to the World Time Attack Challenge in Sydney, Australia to represent the United States at this World Stage.
The best teams from Japan, England, Austrlia, and the US will be in attendance including: CyberEVO, Panspeed RX7, CUSCO/Tomei STi, Hi Octane R34 GTR, Sierra Sierra EVO, and many more.
You can read more about the event, competitors, and the announcement of FXMD competing at: http://www.superlap.com.au/2009/
This is the chance to show the world what U.S. teams can do and a chance for the NSX to show it's capabilities against the fastest time attack cars ever built. However this trip is going to be very expensive. Airfare, shipping, lodging, prep, food, etc... is going to cost in excess of $25K. While sponsors help to offset some of that money, it is still going to cost a lot to make the trip. We are reaching out to the community for support.
What you can do:
You can support FXMD's efforts to compete against the best in the World in Australia by sending any greatly appreciated charitable donation via paypal to:
FXMDKen@gmail.com
Your donation is more than appreciated for helping make this once in a lifetime opportunity come true and we are going to have a sticker or decal somewhere on or in the car with all the names of those who have donated.
Please send the name you would like to have on the car at the time you submit the paypal. It can be your whole name, S2Ki username, or anything else.
If you have any questions, feel free to post here, PM, or email myself or Ken at:
FXMDBilly@gmail.com
FXMDKen@gmail.com
FXMD and myself personally would like to thank all of those who have been following our team over the years and who have been a supporter or fan of our efforts. Thank you all and we look forward to continue representing the USA, pushing the NSX beyond its limits, and developing products and knowledge for everyone to benefit.
Thank you,
Billy Johnson

Billy, I'm pulling a chunk out of my build funds to help support you and your team. I demand a meet and greet when I see you guys at the Redline Time Attack sessions later this year! Or how about some racing equipment schwag or hook-ups??
All jokes aside, I wish you guys the best over there in the Land Down Under! Show the world that America isn't all about that "slow and show bullsh*t"!!!
Cheers,
Cliff Tallman
