Default Suspension adjustment suggestion

Currently running eibach r2 evasive spec suspension

I have been fiddling with this suspension to find the perfect setting but no matter what it seems bouncy and not good at responding to input well

I was at Infineon raceway and I drove my car and the bumps seem to bounce the car to the point it seems unsettled

I then sat in my friends car with the kw club sports and it handles the bumps so much better

R2 spring spec is 900 lb and the kw I believe is 600

When parked I tried to compress the kw by pushing om the rear body and the car barely moves

When I tried to compress my car it moves easily

Any suggestions? I have not found a good setting and need help badly

This does not sound right. Even without damping those 900lb springs should be very difficult to compress. Are the springs marked "900 lb"?

Yep 900 lbs. I see it on the spring and on evasive s site

According to your site rob I think I need to up rebound more and worry about compression later

Currently at 3 clicks from soft out of 7 for rebound
Compression is 4 from soft out of 12

I have the same shocks. My car is pretty stable over curbing/bumps with the exception of the washboard bumps under braking.

My go to settings are:

Rebound 3 from full stiff F/R
Compression is 5 from full stiff F and 4 from full stiff rear.

Non stag and APR200 wing. RCA front and rear as well.

Also how low is your car?

I'd go with this too. Sounds like you're way too soft on the compression settings.

Also Dustins car makes a lot of power he has cams.

Thanks guys. I will try to up the rebound settings first

I know for the street I need to up rebound to 6 from soft to not get the float. I thought on the track I can back that down

When will I know when compression is too soft?

I am not lowered much. I raised the car back up because I thought it was hitting bump stops

I am going to say 0.75 to 1 inch lower than stock

Just follow Rob's guide for suspension tuning.

However if you're unable to understand what the car is doing or how that relates to suspension and overall feel I can see how it might get a bit confusing.

Easiest thing to do? Use Dustin's settings as a baseline and adjust to your liking from there. It's what I would do if my experience with shocks was not as high as I would like it to be.

Which can be issue, not enough extension and topping out. Topping out makes you feel it is harsh on bumps because it does not follow back side of bump.
