Default Suspension mods on my Christmas list

I'm planning on joining the Touring Club at the local track which basically means that I get to go run laps for fun a few times a month.

I've only had the car a few months and have been eyeing frame stiffening and suspension mods, but wouldn't mind some opinions on what I have on my list for Santa.

I've decided to stick mostly with Cusco parts, if for no other reason than they seem to be good and for uniformity. I love the looks of the ASM GT strut tower, but I'm planning on adding the Kraftwerks supercharger in the spring and am concerned that I'll have fitment problems.

Anyway, here's the list sourced from Evasive:

CT Engineering Lower X Brace
Cusco Front Upper Strut Tower Bar
Cusco Subframe Bar
Cusco Front Sway Bar 32mm
Cusco Rear Sway Bar 30mm
Cusco Rear Lower Arm Bar Type I
Cusco Front Lower Arm Bar TYPE II

Like I said, comments are appreciated.

the first rule of R&C no cusco.
the second rule of R&C no cusco.

honestly all the shit you said right there is absolutely not necessary unless you are really pushing your car which you will not be doing on "fun runs"

you forgot the cusco bolt in cage

I agree. There is nothing on that list that I would use for occasional, or even serious racing.

Stick with the basics. Dot 4 brake fluid, some decent tires (R888, NT01 ect), and track pads.

There is a lot of information in this forum about the above. It would help your reputation to seek that info out first, before you ask any more questions.

I say that not to be rude, but in hopes of getting you the info you deserve to know.

The reality is that, like crash pointed out, is that Cusco gets no love in this forum, because most of us see it as bling, and not as a go-fast part company.

And honestly, uniformity is a horrible reason to choose parts. Choose parts that help you accomplish your goals.

So, to recap. Read up, then ask questions based on that research, and we will be glad to help you out further.

Add a veilside body kit and you'll be all set.

Jeez! Beat up the new guy, why don't ya?

I belong to a lot of other boards, so I can appreciate the "research it yourself" POV, but seriously, there's close to 10 years of posts on this board and I didn't figure a thumbs up or thumbs down on Cusco equipment was gonna jerk anyone's shorts in a knot.

In terms of whether or not the equipment is necessary, I figured that shoring up the front end was probably a reasonable idea before supercharging for close to double the amount of hp.

Regardless, thanks for the constructive opinions. I'll go check out the FAQ in more depth.

Luda,
I race W2W a 400 hp supercharged s2000 my suspension mods are
Mugen front bar
removed rear bar
coilovers with 900 950 springs
upper control arms for camber and that is all......

Recently on the boards here there has been some crow eating over some stiffie things on front but that is also not going to do much unless you are going to a very high spring rate (over 1000 pounds) all of what you listed is not going to do anything but the good ol "check this out, cool huh that is what they use on race cars"....

I hope this helps.
remember its not a how much shit can I bolt on thing with the s2k.
o and welcome to racing and competition you have not seen beating up yet either.

Take that money and spend it on something useful like:

1) KW V3
2) J's Racing front L1 camber kit
3) alignment
