tein vs tein
As long as you have the JIC's instaled correctly I don't see any way you can bottom them out on the street.
Now the Teins on the other hand should be much more easy to bottom out if you have lowered your car.

for the record I had lowered the car 15mm not much at all and for those of you out their you could lower the car to be as it was put to the ground and not bottom because jic's are designed with a seperate external adjustable body that does not affect the they setting's on them so their it is and why not try some other suspesion's.
Well this thread maybe a bit chaotic but the question remains: Does anyone have experience with the Tein RS as opposed to the RA? I will be ordering a set of coilovers within a week and my list in preferred order is:
1) Spoon adjustibles with 10kg/10kg
2) JIC with custom 8kg/9kg rates
2) Tein RS or RA
3) Apexi N1 Pro

Yes the Buddy Clubs, JIC and Zeals lower the car by lowering the shock itself not the spring perch. You can get full range of travel with these shocks at whatever height you set them. On the Teins and other brands you lower and raise the spring perch to raise and lower the car, this affects the spring rate as well as the travel of the suspension itself. So if you go LOW with the Teins you loose alot of spring travel, however if you go LOW with the JIC BC or zeal you dont loose any of the suspension travel until you hit the top of the inner fender.
