Default Telemetry Apps for Androids?

Hey guys...

I know there are a couple lap-timer/telemetry apps for Black Berry's and iPhones; but what about Android powered phones? More specifically, the HTC Evo4.

I've been searching through the Android Market, but the few 'lap-timers' I've come across were simple at best.

Thanks!

Look into "trackmaster"
Still basic compared to other stuff thats out there but it does lap timing, mapping, g force, google map overlay, split timing, etc.

Hey Jon! You back on track now? Pun intended.

Btw, I'm waiting for the developer of Racechrono to port over to android. For the time being I use it with an old htc phone running wm6.

lol thanks Al. I'm exploiting the open track association loop-hole. I can continue to hit the tracks at highly discounted rates as an instructor. Actually I'll be @ Buttonwillow this Sat, because they have a bunch of nooBs that need help. (I know the S2k event is sunday...oh well)

....Thanks for the TrackMaster advice guys, I'll look into it.

I recently purchased the trackmaster app. I'll be at the track this weekend and will compare times to the official ones from my amb transponder. I'll report back here if I remember to. (HTC Thuderbolt)

There are a couple free ones that I saw in the marketplace, aDyno, and GPS lap timer free. They might be worth checking out. I didn't spend much time playing with aDyno, but gps lap timer free was giving me times while driving around the block without issues.

I've been within 10ths of my transponder with the track master app. The cool thing is you can connect to a bluetooth GPS module for up to 10hz refresh for even more accuracy.

I've used DinoDyno. Not that great, but it's free = worth a try.

Reporting back about the Trackmaster app this weekend - worked great! For most laps, times were within 0.025 seconds! The farthest off I saw was about 0.075 seconds, which is still great considering it's within a tenth.

This is just with the internal gps on my HTC Thunderbolt. Great app - I recommend it!
