Default tie rod ends

On my racecar (track only), the boots are torn again on the tie rod ends. I believe the lowered front end is creasing the boot and causing it to eventually tear after ~600mi. Heat from brake rotors too?

I could replace with new boots for $20, new OEM rod ends for $70, or pillowball rod ends with no boots for $250.

Pillowballs worth it?

Don't know if pillowballs are worth it or not.

I too have oem tie rod ends on my (track only) S2000. I've only had it since last summer, but the boots last fine. I've done over 1000 track miles since I got it, and the previous owner a lot more. It is very low. However, since I do not run brake heat shields, I have added aluminum heat wrap around the tie rod and ball joint boots. Perhaps that is the problem.
