You cant have Nitros dam!
No, but you can still wear the nomex bra if it will make you happy.

Rules are rules. some will agree to it and some wont. Personally, I think it's drawn up pretty well when you consider the rule must accommodate a wide variety of makes and models. Also, it's an event NOT a series. You show up with whatever you have on your car and compete. It's an extra incentive for an otherwise normal track event. That's it!

[QUOTE=gfacter,Jan 26 2006, 02:05 PM] So my car with shaved RA1's is considered modified, do you need to wear nomex for this?

Has anyone done this? When they put you out in a small group for your Hot laps

semi interested in mid ohio. What are the prizes?

Have an entry list yet?

I'd hate to drive 10hrs and find out it's cancelled because not enough peeps showed up or it snowed.

We've got really nice trophies for the prizes. You can see pictures of them on display in this gallery link: http://www.redlinetimeattack.com/index-g.html scroll to the end of all the car picks, and you'll see the trophies. Plus you get the fastest time in your class if you win. Media coverage if you want it (great if you have sponsors)

I've actually check the weather over last 25 years on the date we'll be holding the event. It's only rained three time in the last 25 years. Temps are recorded to be between 69 for a high and 45 for a low. Pretty good odds, but you never know what can happen out there. I'm hoping for the best!

Let me know if you have any questions.

Ya, Aaron did really well in the AWD street class out at Spring Mt last November.
As you can see he got first place in his class. He can move the EVO! It was funny cause he had winter tires on the back. The Street Class only allows you street tires, so you do what you have to to get the win!

What are the best tires to run in the street class? I usually run toyo ra-1's but they are not allowed.
