Default Time Attack

Hey, im starting in the time attack league here, and i'm wondering if you experienced time attackers use the heel toe method to rev match when you downshift?? or enter a corner??

Thank you!

I've met a hand full of "fast" (subjective opinion) drivers that don't... but as others said, yes, you should.

x2

I tend to do it during nomral driving just to practice it as its not something I have ingrained as a reaction/instinct yet. I' mgettingt here though and it certainly is helpful in autox to help with all those 2-1 downshifts.

Don't ask your clutch if you should use that method... I'd ask your wallet instead to see if you can pay for heel toeing over the long run.

I'm sure it saves time though...

when you do it right, fast and precise enough, you can see the rpm difference is less than 500 rpm

if you heel toe, you don't have to shift that fast and precise, most rev matching is still within 500rpm difference anyways
