What configuration? Stock (i.e. intake, exhaust, BSK, old SO2's), with the bypass I have gotten a 2:17 and my friend has gotten a 2:12-2:14.

It depends if your running the bypass or not in turn 5 as it makes a bit of a difference in times. I run in the 2:15.XX range in a Spec Miata so S2000 times should be slightly slower stock on SO2s, and a bit faster if your running R-compound tires. I have never run the bypass in turn 5 so I don't know how much faster it would be but I would have to guess at least more then a sec or 2. The fast spec miata guys are down in the 2:14s or faster. My spec is pretty fast but I'm not as good a driver as some of the front runners. Aaron Bitterman and Little O are both more then a sec faster then I am in my own Damn car.

If your running 2:17 on a stock S2000 (Stock brakes, pads, S02 tires, stock shocks) then your damn fast. If you are doing that with after market shocks, brake pads r-comp tires then your a decent track day guy but kind of suck for a race car driver.

I can say about street tires, just been too long since I ran them. The bypass in my experience is 2 seconds quicker.

Going over T5

2:10 stock w/ r-comps
2:07 w/ shocks and wheels and -some- simple mods.
2:01-02 in race prep on dot
1:58-2:00 w/ slicks
