Thumbs up Tips/suggestions Please...

As title states, I have the Bride Ergo 2 and want to install some sparco 4pt harness. I have read the info about installing with this helpfull -->INFO

The only problem i have now is, i dont have/need the extra roll bar as stated for taller people, etc. I have plenty of head room(i'm 5'5 125lbs, short/thin asian guy) and so forth.

So how would i install the harness?
here are some quick pics hope this helps...

TIA!

Well from my head to the roll hoops, i have about 4-6'' head room. This includes a imaginary line from the top of the windshield to the rollhoops. As stated in the previous link.

What i'd really like to do is have a stock look as much as possible(willing to cut here and there for it to happen).

I just want to know where to bolt up the harness.

Just leave it the way it is now if you want to keep the stock look. It is not safe to attach a harness to anything but a roll bar because the angle will be wrong and you will possibly be crushed in an accident. And having a roll bar on a street car is also dangerous unless you plan to always wear a helmet.

How about modify the stock hoops to work just like a aftermaket roll bar?

Any way you like, as long as it's only for show.

Seriously, no one in this forum is going to tell you it's a good idea to install 4-pts at all (without anti-sub features, anyway). Nor will they tell you there is any safe mounting location for the shoulder harness unless you have a harness bar. Nor will they tell you that using a harness (any harness) and the stock hoops is a good idea.

If you just want to hear the answer you want to hear, try asking in S2000 Talk.

I hate doing this, but 100%. I drove my car with just the 4pts for one day until I got the backing plates for the subs from OGRacing. It made me nervous as hell driving with the clip-in buckle just under my sternum.

Don't run 4pts...
