Default Tire alignment for MY2002

Hello,

I will start with saying, yes, I did research this matter before posting.
These being said, I have a 2002 S2000 and I will shorthly need an alignment.
I was planning to go with the UK setting, but then I realized that the UK settting applies to pre-MY2002 cars (2002 suspension alignment has apparently changed). So, I'm at a loss right now. Can I still use the UK numbers?
For reference, these numbers are:
Front
Caster Left 6

I doubt if the UK settings are appropriate since MY 2002 incorporated the following changes based on what's been reported here:

I believe the US alignment specs remained the same.

I am getting a UK alignment myself on my 02 within a week or 2 myself. I am thinking the car will be a little more lively and willing to change direction quicker with this setup. Its just more camber front and rear as far as I can tell.

I am paying $ 315 for corner weighing and an alignment.

Cheers,

George

George,

Do you have any special reason to weigh your car?

Thanks,

The UK settings are fine for a combo street-autocross -track machine. They won't get you ultimate grip but also won't wear the bejeesuz out of the street tires. It all depends on how competitive you want to be. I use these settings and am happy with them for local events...

Yes, I just installed JIC adjustable dampers.

That seems like an absurd price...

A competition alignment should be less than $100, really more like $70 or $80. The rest to throw the car on some scales?

My car corner weighted almost perfectly with adjustable coil-overs just by counting threads on the initial adjustment, so it's unlikely that there is going to be a huge amount of tuning required.

Yes you are probably right...

After calling around, I finally settled on a Competition Porsche race shop based on our phone conversation. They knew exactly what I wanted and seemed to be very interested in carefully setting the car, ride height also.

The import shops I called just didn't give me the same comfort level

I will pay a little extra if I know the job is done with extra care.

I even found myself looking at scales...

George
