Default Tire Longevity Advice

So here is my dilemma, I've had Bridgestone RE01R's on the car for 20k miles. The rear tires are completely bald, the fronts still have another 5k miles left of life or more, who knows. So considering I've done a dozen autox races, one track day, and added 20k miles to the car, including 2 Wake the Dragon trips and still have tread left on the front tires. I can honestly say the Bridgestones were worth the near $1k I paid for them. But we have this ridiculous extreme summer tire battle on our hands, I can choose from Advan AD08, RE11 or Z1 Star Spec's. All good tires, but does anyone have any experience with longevity? I can get Z1's for $586 from Tirerack or RE11's for $936, but for $350 cheaper I'm worried they will not last as long, IMO the Bridgestones longevity has made them well worth the price, but if Z1's will last just as long and the difference is negligible, then I may sway to Dunlop . I know this probably belongs in the wheels/tires section but I want advice from street and track double duty cars, because that is what mine is for Hopefully more than one this year Thanks.

In your case, the Star Specs would be the best bed. They are rated slightly lower than the RE-11, but are 1/2 the price of the tires. So you could buy 2 sets for the price of the 1 set of RE-11's. I'm planning on running Star Specs until I can get a 3rd set of wheels and a trailer to start using R888, NT01, ect.

+1 star specs last very very well, I like them better than Bstone RE-11 (dont like the breakaway characteristics of the Bstone) I can get a season (march through november) of autox and DD use out of them. this is 2+ autox's a month and about 12k miles and a lot of these autox's have 6-8 runs and some months I run 3 events. TMMV

After hours of research... I have decided to run Star Spec's. I say it's the best deal all around!

No doubt the star specs are good, I question their longevity, was curious of anyone had any mileage on them yet. The price I posted included the $50 rebate I think.

The set of Star Specs on my old wheels were at 60% front and 40% rear after about 9k miles and 7 or 8 autox events
