Default Tire trailer

Where can I get one cheap? What do I need? Are you all going to poke fun at me if I show up towing a trailer with my S2000 instead of towing the S2000 on a trailer?

I read some Porsche guy's web page about getting one of those Harbor Freight trailers. He said it was kinda a piece and he spent like $400 by the time it was ready for tires and had a plastic toolbox on it.

Just shot Aaron an email.

I gotta keep this cheap.

The Harbor Freight's pretty much the standard autocross trailer. I've got one and have no complaints. What was the Porsche guy's gripe?

The Porsche guy didn't have a gripe, it's Reverend griping about the cost.

Walmart also sells a small 4'x4' trailer you could look at.....optional bigger wheels (recommended).........some locals built custom trailers with square steel tubing and independent Honda Accord rear suspension (old)......built in a bit of negative camber and they have a fantastic cornering/handling trailer!

He did say the Porsche guy said it was "a piece".

Anyway, I just built mine then strapped tires to it -- no extra fabrication or other additions. I guess if you're really picky, I should account for the cost of straps over and above the cost of the trailer, but point is, it wasn't pricey.

whatever you do, stay away from those dang tire platform things with no wheels, unless you want to kill your rear shocks...
